BROADCAST & MULTIMEDIA SHOW CONFERENCE 2008
" The Path to Digital Broadcasting"
Digital technology is bringing about a revolutionary
change in all aspects of broadcasting from not only
how we produce content, but how we manage and
archive it, and deliver it to our customers across a
variety of delivery mechanisms to a range of viewing
devices in fixed and mobile environments. While many
broadcasters are undertaking or have completed the
transition to digital technologies, others are considering
when and how to take the first steps along the digital path.
We have now moved past the question of whether to make
the change, there is now no choice!
Many of those who are yet to begin the transition still need more information and a better understanding of just how to proceed. They must also assess the financial impact on their business, the many changes required such as changes in operational practices, work flow management, content management, different resource skills and the very much closer links to the consumers.
The Broadcast and Multimedia 2008 Broadcasting Conference plans to address such issues and aims to provide the participants with the latest information and the actual industry and service provider experiences on the digital transition. This will come from within Indonesia and from other parts of the world where digital broadcasting is now underway.
